Cali Nash Trucker Hats On the Road: Mexico Edition

Welcome to our blog! Creating Cali Nash and designing our trucker hats has been a huge creative outlet turned passion project, that we have been so excited to share with you.
To know me is to know that I love to travel and all things style, and we wanted to have a space for us to share our adventures, taking Cali Nash on the road. So here we go. Let's dive into our July trip to Cancun, Mexico.
I love a good trip to Mexico and have probably been a dozen times. Funny thing, though, being a Southern California native for most of my life, Cabo had my heart. Nothing was better than the 1.5-hour flight from LAX, straight into the paradise that is Cabo. But now that I'm living on the other side of the country in Nashville, Cancun is quickly taking over that top spot. The trip is just as convenient but it's another world once you're there, and grabbing that jumbo margarita right off the flight really gets me straight into vaca mode.
Our quick airport transfer took us directly to our all-inclusive resort, Excellence Riviera Cancun. We stayed at an Excellence resort in the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon earlier this year, and fell in love with the grounds, the food and the staff. We learned there were a few properties around the Caribbean and made it our mission to try them all! And this one did not disappoint. Here were a few of our highlights:
The resort itself: It's beautiful! As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the friendliest staff and a glass of champagne. Our room was better than we expected, with a fully stocked fridge and balcony views.
The pools: Yes, pools! We enjoyed every moment in our poolside cabana, pool hopping, meeting new friends, and floating in the lazy river, drink in hand. Wearing our various trucker hat designs each day, we were so excited to receive positive comments and questions about our hats! Definitely inspiring for our next rounds of trucker hat designs.
The beach: We gotta give some love to the actual beach. The white sand, surfer vibe tiki huts and the overall relaxed, playful spirit were such an enjoyable part of the trip. My love for the beach and living in Southern California most of my life was really a huge part of what inspired our Go Coastal trucker hat. The playful tagline combined with the waves symbol sums it up: fun, laid back and makes you smile.
After 4 incredible nights, and making all the new mems, our trip came to an end. But we headed back to Tennessee full of inspiration for new trucker hat designs and potential new products, ideas for upcoming travels, and feeling grateful for the adventure.
